The Great Day is here!! July 2, 2022 11:00am here at Holman Heritage Community Center, a Historical Marker will be presented. What a wonderful event, the public is invited to attend. Holman will be recognized for its place in history serving the African American community for all these years. What an honor.

Latanyua Robinson a Stuttgart native and owner of Latrobe LLC, has been awarded in April one of the 2022 Arkansas Small Business Week Awards. This is a great honor, earned by years of hard work and a dedicated spirit. Latanyua is a loyal volunteer to the Holman Honey Bee Literacy Program.

Holman has received a donation from the Grand Prairie Historical Society. A Historical Marker will be placed at Holman Heritage Community Center in early 2022, to celebrate over a 100 Years of Holman serving the African American community.

The exciting event for 2022 is the placing of a Historical Marker here at Holman. It will be presented by the Arkansas County Historical Society, more information will be posted as it becomes available.

Holman Heritage Community Center of Stuttgart Arkansas, working for the community by competing in and winning The Community Based Organization of the Year Award 2018.


Calvin Criner, as executive director of the Holman Heritage Community Center, served as a community guide for UAMS College of Public Health doctoral students. Criner demonstrated a commitment to bridging the racial divide in his community.Read the article here
